We are "Social Havok Music" an official song writing and music Composition Company based in London. We specialise in pop/dance music, the type of music that charts and are also currently in the process of adding a management arm to the company.
Currently there are 2 of us, a songwriter and a producer. We have always spoken about bringing an engineer on to the team to take care of all sound engineering aspects of our projects but have never got around to doing so.
It's a new year and we're now taking steps to find an engineer to bring on to the team. Bare in mind this isn't an offer of employment. We are interested in some who's probably been mixing music for a long time and done a few courses but never had the opportunity to be part of a team and put their acquired skills to the test.
We'd like to bring someone onto the team who'd be part of our "beat making" sessions to take care of all sound engineering. We're a 2 man team and intend to grow this company and make money doing what we love together as a team and be able to look back at how it all started, sometime in the future when our buzz is established.
We're both well educated, business minded men who work hard and know our craft well. We intend to bring a like minded, hard working sound engineer on to the team and make things happen.
You just need to be good at what you do, know your hardware, know your software and want to settle down in a music company and make a name for yourself, but also understand before we can reap some benefits we will need to put in effort.
We require an engineer who is experienced with mixing in the box in either protools or logic. You need not worry about hardware/software as everything will be done in our studio or where ever we setup on the day. So all you'd need to do is turn up. Most of the mixing and vocal recording would be done here.
You will be responsible for everything in a recording session from mic placement through sound set up, multi-track recording, editing, and mixing.
