Project Runway 2012 Casting Call - USA

Project Runway is now accepting applications from designers across the U.S. to be considered for the show.

Are you a creative, passionate, outgoing, talented fashion designer with a style of your own and a clear vision of what defines you as a designer? If so, you now have the opportunity to audition for Project Runway 2012.

Can you compete against other talented designers and earn your place at New York Fashion Week?

The casting calls this year will be invite only(we’ll see if that changes later), but for now you must submit an application before you can be considered for an audition for the show. All participants must 21 and over and have an application submitted to Project Runway before March 15th – Thats only 1 month away. Invite only auditions will begin in April and casting directors will begin calling in potential participants for live interviews. Casting directors will be scheduling interviews in many cities across the country. Please get your application in as early as possible so that you have a chance to be interviewed as close to your home geographically as possible. Those submitting too close to the deadline run the risk of auditions not being available close to the city in which you live.

Two recent photos: one full-length shot and one close-up of your face
Photos of completed designs
Photos of detail work, patterns, and sketches
Clear copy of your ID
A video

and, all participants must have a valid passport (maybe thats a clue that project Runway and its cast will get to do some international travelling during this next season)
