I progressed to the final 50 potential Dorothy’s for this year’s BBC production of Over The Rainbow. I am head Acting coach at “Starstruck Stage School” in Arklow, Ireland. I have played many lead roles including:as "Queenie" (HONK!), "Sugar" (Some Like It Hot) and won an AIMS award for “Excellent Musicianship” for Pitti-Sing" (The Hot Mikado) as part of an ensemble. Her roles while at LIPA, include "Marya" (The Government Inspector), "Gilda", "Mrs. Tilly" and "Flynn" (Loveplay), "Ursula" (Sweet Charity) and "Mole" (Wind in the Willows). Amy also featured as the lead singer in the premiere of the stage adaptation of “They shoot Horses, Don’t They?” I am soon to be playing Ariel In

Despite being classically trained my experience varies to many different genres. I have trained to grade 8 Trinity College London in classical singing and have performed as a featured soprano in many concerts throughout Ireland.

I recieved an AIMS Award for Best Supporting Actree last year for my role of "Holly" in the Wedding Singer.

Most of my passion lies in Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Rock Opera and have enjoyed singing lead parts in such shows as Some Like It Hot, Footloose, The Wedding Singer, The Hot Mikado, Sweet Charity and many cabaret style concerts which renowned societies such as Festival Production, SMCO, Glasnevin and Avonmore.
