i am a member of the "down the rabbit hole" drama group in clonmel. i also attended chekov acting lessons for a number of months.i have experience in voiceover acting and stage performing. i also have plenty of experience in using my voice to be heard as i am one of two co-hosts on south tipperary general hospital radio since early february of this year.i sat in with Niall Carroll,Lyric fm's Classic drive host, for one show as part of work experience for radio. i have completed many acting workshops as part of our drama group in the areas of commedia dell'arte, voice acting, stage performing, vocal training, movement and stage communication. I think one of the most important skills that we learn in this group is improvisation. Improvisation, whether it is a rehearsal or a workshop we are doing,is a skill which is absolutely necessary in every exercise. i am very interested in becoming a stage performer and a voiceover artist. I have a very distinct, deep bass-toned voice which i would love to use for voiceover parts. However i am also eager to perform on the stage.
Our group performed a play called "Murder at Checkmate Manor" from the 29th of August to the 1st of September. This was an Hilarious play about an abysmally performed murder mystery. It is essentially a play within a play. It was very successful and a very moving experience.
