I have been singing in pubs and clubs since i was 13, and have performed in venues all over the country.
I reached the last 40 in the search for S Club Juniors.
When i was 14 i won a national competition called Festival 4 Stars. Auditions were held all over the country, and when i won the North West section i was invited to sing at the Grand Final which was held in Glasgow. I won the final out of the 22 girls in my section.
My prize for winning was to sing at the Variety Club Celebrity Christmas Lunch which was held at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane in London. I met some great people and it was a fantastic experience.
When I was 15 I was chosen to record an original song that was written for a local charity.
When I was 16 I was chosen, along with 11 other teenagers from the Manchester area, to record and perform an original Christmas song. We had input in the writing of the song, and worked in the studio to produce it. The song was then played throughout the Arndale Shopping Centre in Manchester throughout the Christmas period, and we performed the song to an audience in the centre on Christmas Eve.
I recently travelled to America and took part in the American Idol Experience at Hollywood Studios in Florida. Over 300 people auditioned in the morning and I ended up winning my preliminary round, and then went on to win the finale which was held at the end of the day.
My prize for winning was a Dream Ticket, which gives the recipient an advanced audition for the real American Idol. Obviously as I am not American i couldn't take up this offer but it was an amazing experience. I have taken part in many other talent competitions and have had a lot of success.
I have lots of audition and performing experience and I am a hard worker. It is my dream to be a successful recording artist and I believe that given the chance i could prove myself. I have been approached by several artist development companies in the UK and America but haven't been able to follow the offers through due to finances. I have dancing experience and feel I have the right look and sound to become a marketable artist. I would to be developed and presented to record companies. I feel that with the right backing and help I could be very successful. I am very determined and driven and will work very hard to achieve my goals. When i was very young i had the chance to meet Michael Jackson, and ended up performing on stage with him at one of his History tour concerts. This was an amazing experience and inspired me to sing and be a performer, my favourite thing is performing and I can't imagine myself doing anything else!
