Una Pedreschi's talents for singing and theatre were recognised whilst growing up in Wicklow town, subsequently earning her a scholarship to the Guildford School of Acting and Musical Theatre conservatoire in 2004. She has gone on to play top U.S. venues with leading Irish stars "Celtic Woman" for two years, including New York's famous Radio City Music Hall and Red Rocks Ampitheatre, Colorado.
At home in Ireland, other stage roles have included The Balladeer in Stephen Sondheim's "Assassins", and Player no. 5 /Delia in Bryan Flynn's "Michael Collins, A Musical Drama" at the Theatre Royal, Waterford.
It was an early love of Miss Saigon that led Una to recognise that her passion lies in the dramatic blend of singing and acting: the intensity of translating a character through song. With diverse musical influences ranging from Jeff Buckley to Barbra Streisand and Ella Fitzgerald, Una's vocals are particularly inspired by Tori Amos and Kate Bush.
