I have performed at small venues and large theatres as well as London fringe - the Kings Head Theatre, Islington. I have good stage presence and a clear strong voice, and have done poetry recitals and storytelling sessions. I have sung live in theatre productions and in clubs, and am used to a recording studio. My acting experience is wide and varied - both live theatre - dramas, comedy plays, pantomime, musicals - and films. More recently I have been honing my improvisation skills. In pantomimes I have played the villainess, fairy godmother, comic duo and other roles. I have a wide range of regional accents. As a character actress I have played many serious roles, including Shakespeare, but also have a flair for comedy. In the past few years I have played an 85 year old psychic and a 30 year old flapper so I can play a wide range of ages.
I have played many principal parts including:
M'Lynn in 'Steel Magnolias' (Southern American accent)
Charmaine in Mike Leigh's play 'Smelling A Rat' (Dudley accent)
Freda in 'Laying The Ghost' (Played an 80 year old)
Cynthia Maple in 'Secondary Cause of Death' (UK upper crust)
Millie in 'Proscenophobia' (Jaded older actress)
La La Carmichael (played as an 85 year old from the deep American south)
Madame Arcati in Noel Coward's 'Blithe Spirit' (eccentric British)
