Jemma studied at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 2016 with a BMus (Hons) degree in trumpet performance.

Jemma is a versatile musician having played in many musical settings, including orchestras, big bands, brass bands, jazz ensembles and musical theatre ensembles. Jemma has performed with orchestras including The London Film Music Orchestra, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (as an extra) and The National Youth Wind Orchestra at the BBC Proms in 2012. Performance venues include Buckingham Palace, The Royal Albert Hall, The London Palladium and The Barbican.

Jemma is a regular guest performer with the Music Man Project, the UK’s first full time music education service for adults with learning disabilities. She also regularly performs with a Dixieland and Swing band.

Jemma provides trumpet tuition privately and as a peripatetic teacher in various schools around Essex and Cambridge.
