Hi Lee Davis here, I am 50 years of age and I live in Blackpool. I am unemployed and have no qualifications in any field. I also have another handicap, I have autism. I am not a actor because you have to be trained but this industry is about communicating and expressing, which might help me with my autism. So on that basis I have decided to give it a go. So what I have done is to watch a lot of television, films, plays and shows to give me an idea of how the professionals do it. Then the next step is to learn about the industry itself, learning such things as voice coaching, method acting, audition techniques, screen, theatre techniques, TV and film technique, on location showreel shoot and scene and monologue performance. I have done some stuff so far including a radio play, Shakespeare reading at a town hall, a couple of role playing roles and a film and I have a good reference from Tricell films in Nottingham. At the moment I feel great about this industry. With me I give 100%.

I am currently a member of the Windmill theatre players in Thornton, my experience is a radio play I did in Bispham and Moor Park, called 'The Night before Christmas' in 2015. I am playing a character called Decimus Burton who designed the North Euston hotel And St Peter's church in Fleetwood which I am doing at Easter and also making a film called 'First Principles', where I play a Polish hitman called Barrussca the film will be completed by May. Not bad for someone who suffers with autism.
