I discovered my love of theatre at 15 when I joined the Dover Youth Theatre Project in 1996. In 1998 I passed my A Levels including Theatre Studies, before spending a year studying BA Performing Arts at the University of North London. My time at uni was cut short following a period of illness. However, my passion for performance was still strong, I commenced working with the Blackfish Academy, a community theatre project in Dover for several more years, alongside my 'day job'.
In this time I did work on a paid shoot for an NHS training video, as a receptionist. I was told I was a 'born receptionist'; I dispute this as I strongly feel I was a 'born actress'.
I relocated and currently live in Thanet, performing with the Bohemi Theatre Company and writing/performing my own material. I have now left the day job, as I want to pursue an acting career full time. Life is too short to not do what we love, isn't it?
