Child actor required for minor role in Melbourne based abstract short film
The role of the child is Alma’s younger self, they will be needed for 2 brief scenes and will have to resemble the ethnicity/look of the actress of Alma. She has Indian/Sri-lanka heritage.
All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Audition / Rehearsal / Production datesProduction dates are the 30th of September to the 4th of October, the child will be required on one of the days.
No audition required.
May need rehearsals.
$150 per day - Will only be paid for the day spent on set, expected to be required for 2 to 3 hours.
Young Alma is a representation of who Alma was before really needing to deal with adulthood. She represents hope, innocence and creativity, she has a melancholic longing for her younger self. The child’s family will be compensated for the day on set. A parent or guardian must be present for the child’s time on set.
