Short film documentary based on the retelling of real events of Carola Rackete, a human rights activist and works for an NGO which rescues refugees from the Mediterranean Sea. Exploring the struggle and ridicule she faced from both moral and legal standpoints when rescuing refugees out at sea.

Main Character/Carola Rackete (Inspired by).

The protagonist is a German woman in her early thirties. She is a human rights activist and works for an NGO which rescues refugees from the Mediterranean Sea. We are looking for a female to cast this role, between 20-30. There is no specific look, but preferably a strong, casual, and natural-looking actor would fit our criteria perfectly.

Female, aged 18 to 28
