Guest for an Established London Arts Radio Show

Guest for an Established London Arts Radio Show

London, UK
Listed by View details

I am very much looking for guests to come into the London Studios [near London Bridge Tube station] and do an interview with me [about themselves]. The radio show is established and has up to half a million listeners [according to the stations numbers, based on live broadcast the repeat and on demand and off the website listens]

You MUST give me the answer to the four questions at the bottom of this message. Or I can’t book you in. So PLEASE answer them.

As a NOTE – from experience – I get a lot of responses, but the vast majority of them never bother to answer the questions. So, I can’t book them for the show. It’s really simple, if you don’t answer the questions fully – I can NOT book you. So please do take the time to answer them, as other wise responding is pointless.

I have these dates for the live shows [all Sunday’s, all meet at 1pm on the day]

The early the date you can do the better...

13th Oct
27th Oct
3rd Nov
17th Nov
24th Nov
**1st Dec** I will probably put out a pre-recorded show on this date
8th Dec
15th Dec

If you can’t do any of those dates, I can fit in some pre-recorded shows – just let me know you want to do the shows

IMPORTANT: if you don’t answer this part I can NOT book you. This will be why I have not yet booked you for a show. So please spend the time to answer these questions.

I have to ‘write’ the show. I don’t have a lot of time. So for me to do your show you must give me 10 interesting stories about your career in the arts. Please give me the ten stories with a few sentences about what happened. So I can then easily write the show.

EXAMPLES: [please give me the best stories you can to make the show the best it can be] examples would be, embarrassing auditions, not being paid, being mistook for someone, meeting / working with someone famous, audience doing something etc… etc… the more and better the stories the easier and quicker it is to write a great show. PLEASE make sure you have at least ten stories [with a few sentences for each one] – or I again will NOT be able to write a show for you. And the examples I gave are just to spark ideas – do come up with your own stories [so the shows are not all the same types of stories]

Whatever you want me to plug on the show, pre-show blurb

Song to end the show, a favourite song [from someone else], or if you write songs [or perform] you can do your own… so you can you sing live or off CD– or just play a track by someone else

List of dates you can make – the more dates you give the easier it is to fit you in

Link to the radio shows Facebook group after application. You can also listen to the 60+ shows that have already gone out. Please note the ArtyFAQ is a different radio show I present it’s a comedy quiz with previous guests from the show I am asking you to come on. The show I am asking you to come on is called [the similar] Arty Facts [that is an interview show]. All episodes of Arty Facts are linked from the Facebook group.
