KAI
Kai is untouchable. He’s tall, broad, brash, all perfect qualities for the university rugby team. It’s unfortunate he’s also become the embodiment of toxic masculinity. Kai’s teammates celebrate him as a God amongst men, and this peer pressure has moulded Kai. He is “the man” and as a byproduct of this accrued title, Kai feels he has free licence to engage in behaviour that many with a moral code, wouldn’t.

MICHELLE
Michelle: is 19, and small of stature for her age, fresh faced and focussed in her first year of law at university, however, as the film progresses, we see Michele undergo an enormous shift, where she ultimately has to rebuild herself. Being away from home for the first time, she's vulnerable, and struggling to find where she fits in amongst her peers.
Female, aged 18 to 22

MATT
Relaxed and scruffy, Matt is Michelle's older brother. He attends the same university as Michelle. He is a genuine "nice guy" who prefers to relax at home with his close friends, as opposed to partying hard in the club. Matt is fiercely protective of his sister, Michelle. During the course of the film, Matt is forced to question his gentle nature, and make the hard decision to choose between two wrongs.
Male, aged 18 to 22

TAXI/UBER DRIVER
Although this is a supporting role, it's an important establishing scene in which we understand the nature of the antagonist. The taxi driver undergoes racial stereotyping in this white male, privileged world. This scene is designed to evoke the viewer into realising the nature of white male privilege and the abuse caused is regarded as commonplace, when in fact it should be challenged. it's a scene designed to point out the wrongs of the antagonist, and the void of moral decency.
Male, aged 40 and over
- Skin color: Black, Brown, Olive, Tanned
