Casting talent for Lockdown Guerilla Shakespeare Festival 2020. Executive producer states: "With the world in lockdown, we want to organise something to help keep theatre alive, so we are going to do a festival of Guerilla Shakespeare in honour of Shakespeare's birthday this month. We are looking for the following: Actors to participate from home in completely unrehearsed performances of Shakespeare plays live by video conference, and actors to send us performances of monologues and scenes they have filmed from home for us to share as part of the festival.

"Guerilla Shakespeare is a regular event in which we cast a Shakespeare play, give the actors the script to learn their lines, and then just let them turn up and perform the show with no rehearsal, direction, or prior contact with the rest of the cast. Events thus far have included completely unrehearsed productions of 'King Lear' at the Westminster Hub, 'Twelfth Night' at Limehouse Town Hall, 'Romeo and Juliet' at the Roundhouse in Camden, 'Troilus and Cressida' at the British Museum and 'King Henry V' at the Wallace Collection. We have previously adapted the format for radio but now in these unprecedented times we are going to try something new and take it online. All are welcome to participate regardless of experience."
