"The Limbo" is a celestial diner nestled in between heaven and hell. If you die without resolution, you may just find yourself mopping the floors. Peter finds himself in a car crash when his life-defining job falls to pieces. He awakens in a 50s style diner working as a fry cook. He must work under the watch of restaurant manager Marge through the highs and lows of working in customer service to find meaning in the life he lived.
Brisbane based actor wanted for QUT student sizzle reel for a production pitch. The role in question is for the sizzle reel, not the short film itself.
We are looking for an actor to play Marge, the grumpy and blunt manager of "The Limbo". In a comedic 90s style fast food instructional video as a promotion for the film.
You must be:
Female or non-binary, playing age 25-50 (we are more interested in character work than age). Own transport is necessary. Food is provided.
This role is unpaid. You will however be credited and receive the final film for your portfolio.

Audition / Rehearsal / Production datesOne to two shooting days in early to mid October. Current dates are the 12th and 13th of October, though they are not 100% set in stone. Shooting will take place in a cafe in the afternoon/evening, (approx 3pm-7pm).

Unpaid – this is a collaboration opportunity - Student film for second year QUT students. Unfortunately we do not have the funding to pay beyond expenses.
