We are seeking a genuinely skilled, experienced, compelling and charismatic female actor - must be 55+ years of age, with real stage presence, projection and experience for this part. The role of ‘Liam’ has already been cast to a hugely experienced and collaborative male actor, therefore the person chosen to play ‘Beccy’ should also be a skilled performer - as it is essential that sparks fly between both protagonists. Excellent dialect skills are needed, as a credible Irish accent (not Belfast) will be required for this role. However if the calibre of your acting is exemplary but you lack the ability to maintain an Irish dialect, the writer/director would consider a revised script making "Beccy" a Scottish lady.
Applicants for this role must be reliable, collaborative, committed and punctual and able to take direction well. Please make sure you are able to provide full details of your acting education and past experience in speaking roles, together with a recent headshot and contact information. Thank you.
Audition / Rehearsal / Production datesAs quickly as possible from receipt of application of suitable candidate/s.

To reiterate, this role ideally needs someone who can credibly portray an irascible, cantankerous person with a pleasant Irish accent although an actress who is suitable in all other areas but unable to maintain the Irish accent may also be considered.
