Voiceover & Radio

Put Out Into The Deep is an audio or podcast play set in Brisbane in 1943. It follows the story of 4 women working as signal interceptors for the Australian Army. One of them intercepts a coded Japanese morse message that she suspects originates from a submarine in Moreton Bay. The story features dialogue from the Japanese Submariner on his family and his hopes for success. It also includes a series of reflections from his mother at home in Japan on the hopes for her son from Japan. It is this role of the Japanese Mother that I am hoping to fill.

It is a voice only role. It is to be voiced in English with a japanese accent. It can be recorded from your home if you have recording equipment or at my studio in Brisbane.

I look forward to hearing from interested artists.
