I have been a student of actupnorth since the Spring of this year, being taught by professional actors of TV and Stage. During that time i have participated in many acting workshops of variable subject including performing scenes from several popular TV series like Happy Valley and The Missing. These workshops have also taught me things like how to Embody the Mindset, Environment, Stakes, Preparation, Listening and Reactions, The Art of Not Acting and Method Acting. But perhaps the best lesson i have learned is to realize that acting is more like a game of ping pong rather than chess. I recently played the part of Devlin in the Harold Pinter play Ashes To Ashes which took place with great success in Leeds.
