Tania Notaro is an actor and an emerging screenwriter from Dublin. She is known for her roles in AMC’s Into The Badlands, CBS’ Evidence of Evil and Mark O’Connor’s Cardboard Gangsters. She is a graduate of Bow Street Actors Academy, The Gaiety School of Acting and Momentum Studios where she studied Meisner. During her time as an actor, she became disappointed with the lack of diverse roles for working-class women in film and how they were being portrayed, so she began creating her own. She is currently studying for her Master's degree in Screenwriting for Film & TV at IADT and has received a scholarship from Warner Brothers whom she will be working for and mentored by in 2020. Her first short film Boxed won her a scholarship to study under legendary director John Boorman at the Irish Film School in 2019, making her the first female writer to win this award. She is the winner of The Ronan Phelan Writer Script award at IndieCork 2019.
